G4Si1 can be used in the welding of carbon steel and low alloy steel in the corresponding strength grade, which can be used in engineering machinery, ship, vehicle manufacturing, petrochemical and other industries, especially in the locomotive and rolling stock manufacturing industry.
It is 500MPa level carbon steel wire. It take C02 or Ar+C02 gas shielded arc welding. The welding spatter is small, and it has beautiful shape, high cladding efficiency. It can be used for all position welding.
Precautions:
1 . Clear rust, oil, water and other impurities on the weldments before welding.
The size of the welding line energy will directly affect the mechanical properties of the weld. The size of the line energy depends on the important level of the structure. The more important the structure is, the smaller the line energy should be taken. Welding parameters are only provided for reference. Notes on usage:
1.E.S.O. (Electrode Stick Out) must be kept between 15-25mm.
2.Proper welding conditions must be adopted according to the purpose as the bead appearance and penetration are both varied widely.
3. Use 100% Co2 or Ar + Co2 gas mixture as shielding gas.
4. Control within the optimal range of welding conditions for this wire as possible.
