Chemical Composition (%)

ER49-1 is a kind of gas shielded copper-plated carbon steel welding wire, and CO2 or rich argon gas can be used for shielding. It is suitable for single pass welding or multiple pass welding and has quite high anti-blowhole property. 

It is applied to welding of low carbon steel (for example, Q215, Q195, etc.) and low alloy steel (for example, Q295, etc.) in industries of boilers, coal mining machinery, engineering machinery, automobile, oil and electric power.

Gas shielded welding wire is a kind of welding wire, also called Mag/Mig welding wire which is matched with CO2 gas or Arc gas in welding. It has strong resistance to surface scales and oil stains on the base metal. It has low blowhole sensitivity.

CO2 Gas-Shielded Welding Wire is used to welding carbon steels and 500Mpa high strength steels, used in car, building, ships and bridge. Can also be used for speed welding of sheet and pipes.
